The replica of the original 1962 Volkswagen Camper has been officially licenced by the German car manufacturer for the first time. Loved by hippies and surfers around the world, a real VW van can still sell for up to £25,000.
The red Lego VW Camper Van kit will retail for a much more modest £80 - but you do have to build it yourself.

Lego designer Harris, said: "Its unique character and charm have made it loved all over the world. "It has come in so many different shapes and sizes, interiors and exteriors that it really lent itself to a lego model. "There is lots of technical building within the model that I think Lego fans will enjoy.
"I'm also hoping it will appeal to a wider audience, not just Lego fans. I think the Volkswagen community out there will really appreciate this model." There's a sink unit, a bench that folds down into a bed, a folding dinette table and an opening cupboard with a mirror. The camper model is on sale now.
